Aims and Scope: Russian Journal of General Chemistry

Russian Journal of General Chemistry (Zhurnal obshchei khimii) is a major journal in the field of scientific chemistry. It is the successor to Russia’s first chemical journal, Zhurnal Russkogo Khimicheskogo Obshchestva (The Journal of the Russian Chemical Society), founded in 1869 to cover all aspects of chemistry. Now the journal is focused on the interdisciplinary areas of chemistry (organometallics, organometalloids, organo-inorganic complexes, mechanochemistry, nanochemistry, etc.), new achievements and long-term results in the each field. The journal publishes reviews, current scientific papers, letters to the editor, discussion papers, book reviews, announcements and reports on scientific conferences. The journal is of interest for the researchers at both scientific and research institutes, for the academic and research staff and for students of universities, and for the specialists in various branches of chemical industry.
