About this book series

Aims and Scope

Springer Proceedings in Humanities and Social Sciences collates the most current, selected research presented at international and regional conferences, seminars, and workshops to bring it to a global readership. The series features volumes (in electronic and print formats) of selected contributions from conferences in all areas of both the humanities and social sciences, including interdisciplinary work, covering philosophy, religious studies, history, language and literature, communications and cultural studies, anthropology, sociology, developmental studies and political science and policy. In addition to an overall evaluation by the publisher of the topical interest, research quality, and timeliness of each volume, each contribution is refereed to standards comparable to those of leading journals, resulting in authoritative contributions to the respective fields. Springer’s production and distribution infrastructure ensures rapid publication and wide circulation of the latest developments in the most compelling and promising areas of research in HSS today. The series publishes both Open Access and non-Open Access works.

This series promotes the inclusion of ‘Selected Proceedings’, a middle ground between edited volumes and full conference proceedings. The series is specifically looking for submissions from conferences with a defined, focused theme, or a regional focus in a specific discipline.

The series offers the option for conferences to use Springer Nature’s conference management platform, Equinocs, free of charge.
