Established in 1987, Contributions to Phenomenology promotes
world-class research that advances the international, multidisciplinary
tradition of phenomenology in its second century. The Series publishes
monographs, edited collections, and translations in English contributing to
phenomenology in the fields of philosophy, psychology, cognitive science, the
social sciences, literature and the arts, and cognate disciplines. Scholarship
in established areas as well as original phenomenology research is encouraged,
including historical studies, interpretations of key figures, interdisciplinary
collaborations, applied themes, and the extension of phenomenology to emerging
fields. The breadth and depth of the Series reflects the rich and varied
significance of phenomenological thinking for seminal questions of human
inquiry as well as the increasingly international reach and cross-disciplinary
impact of phenomenological research. All books to be published in this Series
will be fully peer-reviewed before final acceptance.
