About the Editor

Michelle O’Reilly is a Senior Lecturer at University of Leicester, the Greenwood Institute, UK. She is the director of an autism language-based research group ‘Conversation Analysis Research in Autism’ (CARA) and also provides research support to practising clinical professionals working for Leicestershire NHS Partnership Trust. Her research interests are broadly in the areas of child mental health, psychiatric research, family therapy, qualitative methods and research ethics. She specialises in the approaches of conversation and discourse analysis.

Jessica Nina Lester is an Assistant Professor of Inquiry Methodology at Indiana University, US. She teaches research methods courses, including discourse analysis, with much of her research focused on the study and development of qualitative methodologies and methods. Her research is situated within discourse studies and disability studies, with a particular focus on education and mental health contexts.
