About this book series

Static & Dynamic Game Theory: Foundations & Applications aims to publish top quality state-of-the-art textbooks and research monographs at the graduate and post-graduate levels in game theory and its applications in a variety of fields, including biology, communications, computer and computational science, ecology, economics, environmental science, engineering, management science, networks, operations research, political science, security, and the social sciences. The scope of the series includes both cooperative and non-cooperative games; static, repeated, and dynamic games, defined in discrete time as well as in continuous time (so-called differential games); deterministic as well as stochastic games (such as Markov games); and complete or incomplete information games. The series will also include titles that study learning, evolution, and asymptotics in high player population regimes such as mean-field analysis.

The series will appeal to a broad interdisciplinary readership of mathematically-oriented engineers, physical and social scientists, computer and computational scientists, and economists, as well as to mathematicians at the graduate and post-graduate levels. Students and researchers in these fields will benefit from the comprehensive treatment of topical areas, groundbreaking theoretical exploration and development of computational tools, and applications covering the entire interdisciplinary spectrum where multi-agent decision-making is at the forefront. Theoreticians and practitioners in industry, government, and academia will find the titles in the series accessible across the varied terrain of game-theoretical research.
