The 6th Northeast Asian Development and Innovation Symposium (NADIS) will be held in Liaoning University (LNU) on June 21th (Saturday), 2025. Since 2020, the conference has been successfully held for five sessions. The current conference is once again organized by Li Anmin Institute of Economic Research (LIER) at Liaoning University, co-organized by School of Economics and School of International Economics and International Relations.
We are proud to acknowledge that over 50% of the articles published in this journal in 2024 were related to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The three major international institutions (IMF, World Bank and WTO) have all predicted slowing global economic growth and declining inflationary pressures in 2025-2026, while there is uncertainty about the growth of world trade. Against this backdrop, Trump 2.0's “America First” trade policy, reciprocal tariffs, and “America First” investment policy have exacerbated uncertainty in world trade and investment, leading to a worrisome outlook for the world economy.
As the curtains fall on 2024, sincere appreciation is extended to the esteemed reviewers for their invaluable contributions to Digital Economy and Sustainable Development (DESD). Their unwavering commitment to the peer-review process has played a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and integrity of DESD.
