International Journal of Steel Structures - IJOSS Awards (2011~2013)

This announcement is on behalf of the International Journal of Steel Structures (IJOSS) Publication Committee. The IJOSS offers timely forums to discuss current keen subjects and rapidly changing technologies in the field of steel and steel structures.

Starting with Vol. 7(1), 2007, the information in the contents of the IJOSS is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). To celebrate it and to promote the journal, the Korean Society of Steel Construction (KSSC) has decided to found the KSSC-POSCO Award to encourage submission of distinguished papers to the journal from researchers around the world.

The KSSC-POSCO Award was established in 2009 by the KSSC to recognize researchers who have made significant contributions to the International Journal of Steel Structures (IJOSS). Key goals of the award are to honor outstanding papers published in the IJOSS and to encourage researchers to cite IJOSS papers in other SCI journals.

The KSSC will announce award recipients at the annual KSSC conference. 3,000,000 KRW (App. 2,500 USD) in prize money will be awarded annually.

The KSSC is expecting that many outstanding manuscripts will be published in the IJOSS. The award is sponsored by POSCO and administrated by the IJOSS and the KSSC.
