Aims and scope

Vision

The Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology (IJSO) is an official publication of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology.

IJSO is a leading international platform for original, translational and clinical research, scholarly reviews, and expert opinions in the field of Surgical Oncology. Animal research and pre-clinical studies are outside the scope of IJSO and are usually not considered for publication.

This peer reviewed Journal is published bimonthly (January-February, March-April, May-June, July-August, September-October, November-December).

Mission

The mission of the journal is to (a) disseminate high-quality clinical and translational cancer research, as well as review and expert opinion/commentary/editorial articles; (b) represent the advances in the field of Surgical Oncology globally; (c) promote high-standard multidisciplinary patient care across the world; (d) enhance cancer surgery education and training on an international level; and (e) create diversity in all its initiatives.

Audience

Surgeons, physicians, scientists, health care professionals and patient advocates who have a major professional interest and commitment to oncology.
