Wireless Networks - Call for Papers: Information Processing Technologies and Their Applications in Next-Generation Communication Networks
Overview
With the rapid development of modern communication technology, the demand for massive equipment access and improving the capacity of communication network is growing. So, more and more advanced information processing technologies emerge and have been widely applied in many areas. Among kinds of information processing technologies, artificial intelligence and edge computing technologies attract much attention in recent years, and how to apply them to the next -generation communication networks has been a hot topic in both of academic and industrial communities. Specially, Non-terrestrial Network, Resource Allocation in Network, Wireless and Satellites IoT, Intelligent Signal Processing and other techniques have also continuously created opportunities and challenges in discipline integration.
It is of great significance but difficult to explore and build a future efficient and intelligent communication network by fully combining the needs of the times. In order to promote the development of this matter, technologies such as multimodal learning for signal processing, high-dimensional signal pattern analysis, UAV-assisted communication, satellites communication, new multiple access and software-defined networks have ample development prospects. In this special issue, we are looking for advanced information processing technologies for next-generation communication networks that can facilitate the rapid development of future communication systems and provide researchers with smart decision and innovative ideas.
