Dustin Chambers, Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Regulatory Economics, has recently been appointed to the Council of Economic Advisers. Considering this appointment, and effective immediately, Dr. Chambers will be taking a temporary leave of absence from his duties with the journal to avoid any perception of a conflict of interest. He will return to his role as Editor-in-Chief at the conclusion of his appointment to the CEA, in July 2026.
Colin O’Reilly, associate professor of Economics at Creighton University, will be filling the role of Editor-in-Chief in the interim period.
