Journal of Insect Conservation - Conserving Lepidoptera in a Changing World

This special issue welcomes submissions from attendees at the recent International Symposium ‘Conserving Lepidoptera in a Changing World’ held at Wyboston, UK in April 2023.

Subjects should reflect the presentation (talks or poster) given at the conference.

Submissions open: 12 May 2023

Submission close: 31 September 2023

Background

The Symposium took place in Bedfordshire from 13th-16th April 2023 on the theme: Conserving Lepidoptera in a Changing World, a title that reflects the growing evidence globally that butterflies and moths are responding rapidly to climate change, habitat loss and other drivers of change.  Sessions were held on subjects ranging from the impacts of light pollution, climate change, species conservation, habitat conservation, and engaging diverse communities. Papers that reflect these subject areas are especially welcomed from those who presented.

Aims and scope of the Special Issue

The focus of this special issue reflects the presentations at the Symposium and will include the latest science on the ecology of butterflies and moths, and how we can conserve them and their habitats as they face many challenges.
