  • CALL FOR PAPERS: Noninvasive and Invasive Vascular Imaging in the End-Stage Renal Disease Population

We are planning a special issue on "Noninvasive and Invasive Vascular Imaging in the End-Stage Renal Disease Population". This will encompass the broad aspects of noninvasive and invasive vascular imaging in the end-stage renal disease population, including a variety of invited high-quality, multidisciplinary articles. These articles will be written by national and international experts from different specialties, including nephrology, vascular surgery, and interventional radiology, as these specialties are primarily involved in the care of this complex patient population.

The deadline for submission of all articles for this special issue is 7/31/2024.

Please submit your contribution via our online submission system (this opens in a new tab) by selecting the appropriate article type, “Original article” or “Review article”.
During the submission procedure you will be able to indicate that your article should be considered for the special issue “Noninvasive and Invasive Vascular Imaging in the End-Stage Renal Disease Population”. Please also see the submission guidelines (this opens in a new tab).
Submitted manuscripts will undergo regular peer review process.

  • CALL FOR PAPERS: Cutting Edge Cardiovascular CT

Cardiovascular CT has evolved rapidly in the last two decades, now well established as a first-line imaging modality in several cardiovascular diseases. Technological advances in cardiovascular CT and MRI have happened at an astounding pace, with several already incorporated in clinical practice. Cutting edge techniques such as photon counting CT, spectral CT, artificial intelligence, radiomics, flow stimulations, 3D printing, extended reality, plaque and myocardial characterization have improved visualization of structures and provided novel insights into pathophysiology and biomarkers. Knowledge of these cutting-edge techniques is important for a cardiovascular imager to determine the optimal imaging technique for cardiovascular diseases and guide management.

We are planning a Topical Collection on Cutting Edge cardiovascular CT, both review and original research articles under the leadership of guest editor Prabhakar Shantha Rajiah. We invite cardiovascular imagers to submit high quality original research articles for this issue.

Please submit your contribution via our online submission system (this opens in a new tab) by selecting the appropriate article type, “Original article” or “Review article”.
During the submission procedure you will be able to indicate that your article belongs to the special issue “Cutting edge cardiovascular CT”. Please also see the submission guidelines (this opens in a new tab).
Submitted manuscripts will undergo regular peer review process.
