Authors

Under the direction of the Institute for Informatics and Telematics in Pisa, Calcolo publishes original contributions on numerical analysis and its applications, and on the theory of computation.
The main focus of the journal is on numerical linear algebra, approximation theory and its applications, numerical solutions of differential and integral equations, computational complexity, algorithmics, mathematical aspects of computer science, and optimization theory.
Calcolo contains expository papers which introduce emerging topics as well as a abstracts of PhD theses, news and reports from conferences, and book reviews.
As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times. Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.
