Overview

The Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education is an international journal dedicated to research that enhances the education of mathematics teachers and mathematics teaching. Key areas of focus include:

  • Professional development initiatives for mathematics teachers and teacher educators at every level of their career, emphasising ongoing growth and learning;
  • Investigations into how institutional, societal and cultural contexts affect the practice of mathematics teaching and the professional learning of teachers.

The journal encourages submissions that represent a wide range of theoretical perspectives, research paradigms, and contexts, reflecting the diversity of the field and its practitioners. The journal welcomes a variety of submissions, including research papers, commentaries and reader responses.
