LNCS - More than Just Proceedings!

The breadth of research within LNCS makes it a core item for any academic library in computer science and a relevant resource of information for many researchers in neighboring academic disciplines as well as in corporate R&D environments.

LNCS is characterized not only by its comprehensive coverage of the field but also by its variety of products over and above the well-established conference proceedings.

Watch out for these product lines with colorful covers:

New!
LNCS Challenges provides a dedicated outlet for peer-reviewed proceedings of scientific challenges, contests, and competitions. Of essence for these publications is a detailed description of the problem posed and its scientific relevance, as well as clear and impartial evaluation procedures of the competing approaches. The aim is not only to present winning approaches to solving a problem, but also to publish a wide variety of interesting and noteworthy ideas. Publication of associated datasets and source code is strongly encouraged, in order to provide a clear reproducibility check and encourage further tests and discussions on the subject.

Challenges volumes can be published in time for distribution at a conference or as a post-event publication.
