About the authors

Syed Abdul Rehman Khan is an expert in Supply Chain and Logistics Management. Dr. Khan achieved his CSCP—Certified Supply Chain Professional—certificate from the USA and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Tsinghua University. Dr. Khan is a professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has more than twelve years of core experience in supply chain and logistics at industry and academic levels. He has attended several international conferences and has been invited as a keynote speaker in different countries. Furthermore, he has published more than 110+ scientific research papers in well-renowned international peer-reviewed journals (SSCI/SCI and ABS listed) and conferences. Moreover, Dr. Khan is the author of several books related to sustainability in supply chain and business operations.

Muhammad Jawad Sajid holds a Ph.D. in "Management Science and Engineering" from the "China University of Mining and Technology." He is currently an associate professor at Xuzhou University of Technology's School of Engineering Management, China. He has a strong interest in environmental management research. In particular, he has vast experience with industrial ecology, sustainability, carbon emissions, carbon footprints, and carbon policy. Additionally, he is developing emerging technologies for combining renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and water. He has co-authored several research articles in journals indexed by SCIE, SSCI, EI, and ESCI. He is a regular contributor to conferences and workshops worldwide. He has been appointed as a co-chair of MITM2020: Modern Informatics and its Teaching Methods, held on May 20, 2020, in Andijan, Uzbekistan. He has also served as a keynote and invited speaker at several international conferences and assisted as a technical committee member for several international conferences. He is a senior member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES).

Yu Zhang is a researcher in logistics engineering and management. She mainly works in the area of recycling, technological innovation in supply chain, and reverse logistics. She has published 40+ research papers in international journals and conferences. In the last three years, she has participated in several academic research projects. Furthermore, she has published a couple of books related to sustainable and green supply chain.
