About the editors

Dr. Priyadarsi Nanda is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) with more than 33 years of experience and a strong researcher specialising in research and development of Cybersecurity, IoT security, Internet Traffic Engineering, wireless sensor network security and many more related areas. His most significant work has been in the area of Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) using image processing techniques, Sybil attack detection in IoT based applications, intelligent firewall design. In Cybersecurity research, he has published over 130 high quality refereed research papers including Transactions in Computers, Transactions in Parallel Processing and Distributed Systems (TPDS), Future Generations of Computer Systems (FGCS) as well as many ERA Tier A/A* conference articles. In 2017, his work in cyber security research has earned him and his team the prestigious Oman research council's national award for best research. Dr. Nanda has successfully supervised 19 HDR at UTS (16 PhD + 3 Masters), and currently, supervising 10 PhD students.

Professor Sumit Srivastava has a Ph.D. in the field of Data Mining. He has rich and diversified experience of more than 18 Years in academics, research, and administration as well. He has been associated with Manipal University Jaipur since July 2012. Prof Sumit Srivastava has also been an invited speaker in Algorithms, Machine Learning, Pattern recognition and Information & Knowledge Discovery at various FDP/short-term courses. He has published around 90+ research papers in SCI, Scopus & peer reviewed journals and conferences of international repute. He has guided 7 PhD research scholars and 17 M. Tech students for their projects/internships. He is currently the Senior Member of IEEE & professional member of ACM and has been associated with various scientific societies as a member. He is also serving as the reviewer for Springer Journal of Image Processing & Computer Vision, Wiley journal of Computer Vision, Journal of Imaging & Sensing, Journal of Computing and Communication, Expert Systems with Applications- Elsevier and guest editor for International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing (IJAISC).

Dr. Vivek K Verma, an esteemed Associate Professor at Manipal University Jaipur, is a prominent figure in the University. He boasts a substantial academic foundation with a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing and a rich history of scholarly contributions, particularly in areas like Digital Image Processing and Machine Learning. Dr. Verma has published extensively, with his work appearing in 16 Q1 to Q3 journals as per the Scopus index, totaling 61 publications across various levels of academic journals and conferences. He has also been actively involved in editorial duties, having edited and convened numerous proceedings for international conferences, particularly highlighting his leadership in advancing research and academic discourse. His administrative roles at the university underscore as Deputy Director-Research his commitment to fostering an environment conducive to research and innovation.

Dr. Pankaj Vyas is currently the Head of the Department of Information Technology at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), a position he has held for the past six years. In this role, Dr. Vyas has been instrumental in shaping the department's academic and research initiatives, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Dr. Vyas completed his B.E. in Computer Science from Amravati University in 1993, followed by an M.E. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, in 2002 and 2015, respectively. With over 30 years of rich academic experience since 1994, he has made significant contributions to the field of computer science education and research. In 2002, Dr. Vyas joined BITS Pilani, where he held various positions within the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems until July 2017. He then joined MUJ as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), where he continues to inspire students and colleagues alike. Throughout his teaching career, spanning more than three decades, Dr. Vyas has specialized in courses related to programming and software engineering. He takes great pride in teaching 'Object-Oriented Programming' and 'Operating Systems.' Dr. Vyas has guided five undergraduate theses and two higher degree dissertations, reflecting his dedication to mentoring the next generation of computer scientists.His research interests are focused on software quality improvement, safety enhancement of object-oriented systems, software safety analysis techniques, and early software reliability estimation of object-oriented software systems. Dr. Vyas's extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable contributor to the Springer book for SSIC-2023 conference proceedings.
