About the editors
Arun K. Somani is a Distinguished Professor and Senior Associate Dean at Iowa State University. His research interests are in designing dependable computing and networking systems and algorithms. He has supervised over 125 graduate students and published over 450 technical papers and 12 patents. Professor Somani is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of AAAS, a Distinguished Engineer of the ACM, and an Eminent Engineer of Tau Beta Phi. He received a Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship. He is a Distinguished Alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
Ankit Mundra is an accomplished professional holding the position of Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Department of Information Technology within the School of Computer Science and IT at Manipal University Jaipur. In addition to his teaching role, he also serves as the Assistant Director of Quality & Compliance at Manipal University Jaipur, indicating his involvement in administrative and managerial responsibilities.His academic pursuits are reflected in his research interests, which span various domains including Internet of Vehicles (IoV), online fraud detection, cyber-physical systems, and network communications. Mundra has made significant contributions to his field, evident through his extensive publication record. He has authored over 50 research articles published in peer-reviewed international journals, book series, and conference proceedings.
Furthermore, Mundra's editorial contributions are noteworthy, having edited four volumes of books for Springer Nature, a prominent publisher in the field of science, technology, and medicine. His involvement in such editorial activities underscores his commitment to advancing knowledge dissemination within his areas of expertise.An active participant in the academic community, Ankit Mundra is associated with several prestigious technical societies, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Computer Society of India (CSI), and International Association of Engineers (IAENG). His status as a senior IEEE member signifies his significant contributions and experience within the IEEE community.
Rohit Kumar Gupta is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Information Technology at the School of Information Technology, Manipal University Jaipur. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of cloud-based content delivery networks from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Prior to that, he completed his M.Tech. from MNNIT Allahabad. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, highlighting his professional standing and involvement in the academic community. He has a strong passion for research and specializes in the areas of cloud computing, network technologies, and recommendation systems. His expertise in these fields is well-recognized, as evidenced by his impressive publication record. He has authored over 25 research articles, which have been published in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals, book series, and conference proceedings. His contributions to research and teaching make him a valuable asset in the field of Information Technology.
Dr. Arka Prokash Mazumdar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at MNIT, Jaipur. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Patna and an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur. With expertise in various areas of networking, Dr. Mazumdar's research interests encompass Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Wireless Ad hoc Networks, Opportunistic Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), and Intelligent Transportation Systems. Dr. Mazumdar has made significant contributions to the academic community through his publications. He has published more than 50 research articles in reputed journals, conferences, and book proceedings. His research work demonstrates his commitment to advancing knowledge and finding practical solutions in the field of networking.
In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Arka Prokash Mazumdar has actively engaged in various research projects. He has successfully led and participated in 4 research projects, further highlighting his dedication to exploring new avenues and contributing to cutting-edge research. His expertise and contributions have also been recognized through his participation in talks and keynotes at conferences and academic events. His qualifications, research interests, publications, research projects, and academic engagements make him an invaluable asset to the computer science research community.
Subhajit Bhattacharya is a seasoned IT professional having a tenured experience, technology evangelist, entrepreneur, thought leader, mentor, author, public speaker, and life coach.
He has got deep experience into IT strategy for AI enablement, intelligent digital transformation, IT consultancy, solution architecting, complex software engineering, delivery operations, portfolio management, client acquisition, business expansion while working with some of the leading global organizations. He is currently serving as an Associate Vice President at Accenture while leading technology innovation and futuristic industry solutions.
Prior to Accenture, he had worked in Microsoft Center of Excellence at TATA Consultancy Services, further worked as an IT Applications Manager at Bank of America. Other organizations he worked were IBM, and General Electricals (USA).
He is an honorary Advisory Council member of Harvard Business Review, USA. He has served as a business adviser and a board member for Indian tech-startups. He is honored as an editorial board member of Bio-byword Scientific Publishing Company, Australia. He is closely associated with NITI Ayog, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Commerce and Industry while playing a pivotal role in some of the strategic initiatives of Government of India.
His books, chapters, and papers were well acclaimed and published by the international publishers. Subhajit has done Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Applications from Vellore Institute of Technology, MBA (International Business) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and Executive Business Management (dual specialization in Marketing & HR) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
