Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery is proud to present an upcoming thematic issue, entitled:

Biomass for a Sustainable Future

The objective of this thematic issue is to gather research papers from different challenging areas within the field of biomass conversion and biorefinery including biological, chemical, physical and environmental aspects dealing with the latest advances and trends in research related to a more sustainable use of organic material within the overall economy.

 
The special issue may include papers presented at the 1st International Conference on Science and Technology for Sustainable Future (STSF-2023) being a multidisciplinary conference focusing on the recent advances and developments in the fields of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Environmental Science.
 

The focus of this thematic issue is on original research papers with novel findings and new results meetings the highest scientific standards in the research field outlined above. Review papers are typically rejected. They are only exceptionally accepted if they are tackling a clearly new question and / or providing new and in-depth insights into a specific topic. All manuscripts submitted to this thematic issue will go through a stringent peer review process managed by the editorial staff of the journal, and only those that are accepted after peer review will be published. The manuscripts must be prepared strictly following the guidelines of the journal; otherwise, they will be rejected, see

Dr. Gaurav Kapoor

Gaurav Kapoor is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Sardar Patel University, Mandi Himachal Pradesh, India. He completed his PhD degree from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. His major area of research includes parasite immunology. He has published many research papers in various journals of international repute and has edited four books.

Dr. Lakhveer Singh

Prof. Lakhveer Singh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Sardar Patel University, Mandi Himachal Pradesh, India. He has done a Postdoc at Oregon State University, USA. His areas of research are energy production, bio-electrochemical systems, and wastewater treatment. He has 4 patents, has edited 25 books and has authored over 100 scientific papers. He serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery.

Dr. Hitesh Kumar

Hitesh Kumar received his Ph.D in Plant Biotechnology from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology (CSIR-IHBT) Palampur, India. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, Sardar Patel University Mandi Himachal Pradesh, India. His research interest focuses on the molecular biology of Stevia plant being a natural source of non-calorific sweetener.
