About the editors

Dr. Jinan Fiaidhi is an internationally acclaimed author and keynote speaker in the field of collaborative learning and machine learning. Since her early Ph.D. work on the discovery of learning indicators in student programs back in 1983, she has established a pioneering line of research that builds on her expertise in this field, and her landmark achievements include Virtual Scenebeans for P2P collaboration, semantic MOOCS, crowdsourcing-based learning, and the use of IoT for learning. Dr. Fiaidhi has provided workshops and keynotes in over thirty countries. She firmly believes that collaborative learning should be established using a variety of enabling smart technologies, like ambient intelligence, calm computing, crowdsourcing, social media, and machine learning. She is a senior member of IEEE; Chair of Big Data for eHealth at the IEEE ComSoc eHealth TC, and Department Chair of Extreme Automation at IEEE IT Pro. She has published 4 books and more than 160 refereed articles.   

Prof. Debnath Bhattacharyya is a Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department and Dean R&D at Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous) in Visakhapatnam, India. Dr. Bhattacharyya is also an Adjunct Professor at VFSTR University, Guntur, an invited International Professor at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, and former Foreign Professor at the Department of Multimedia Engineering, Hannam University, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. (Tech., Computer Science and Engineering) from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. He is a member of ACM, ACM SIGKDD, IEEE, life member of CSI, India, and senior member of IACSIT, Singapore as well as of IAENG, Hong Kong. He has published 176 Scopus indexed papers and 113 SCI / Web of Science indexed papers. His research interests include security engineering, pattern recognition, biometric authentication, multimodal biometric authentication, data mining, and image processing. In addition, he areviewer for various international journals and has published 6 textbooks on computer science and engineering.   

Dr. N. Thirupathi Rao is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of CSE, Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous), Visakhapatnam, India. He completed his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He is an editorial board member of the International Journal of Extreme Automation and Connectivity in Healthcare (IJEACH), and Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistical Computing and Algorithms.
