About the editor
Professor Yifu Lin is a leading economist, he received a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago and a post-doctoral degree from the University of Yale. He serves as a consultant of the State Council and was appoited Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of the World Bank from 2008 to 2012. He is also on the editorial board of several international academic economics journals.
His monographs include The Quest for Prosperity: How Developing Economies Can Take Off, Against the Consensus: Reflections on the Great Recession, New Structural Economics: A Framework for Rethinking Development and Policy, etc.
