“Medical Statistics: For Beginners by Dr H. K. Ramakrishna is … a guide for the beginning researcher, or the medical student or resident interested in readying a manuscript or starting off for the first time conducting a study, to understand basic statistics. … this book is highly suitable for a medical beginner who needs a solid reference to learn about a wide variety of basic epidemiological and statistical knowledge in planning, conducting, and interpreting clinical studies.” (Feng Dai, Anestesia & Analgesia, Vol. 125 (5), November, 2017)

“The book aims to present statistics in an easy to read, simple manner. It is well written and well illustrated by abundant examples from the medical literature. It is aimed primarily at medical students, residents, and clinicians who are interested in learning the basics of statistics and their application in their everyday medical career. … This is a valuable resource for students and clinicians who are new to medical statistics and evidence–based medicine.” (Pooja Sethi, Doody's Book Reviews, February, 2017)
