Dit boek behandelt de meest voorkomende orthopedische aandoeningen van de schouder. Van iedere aandoening wordt een korte karakteristieke casus beschreven waarbij duidelijk gemaakt wordt hoe de aandoening kan worden herkend. Een goed klinisch onderzoek vormt hierbij de basis. De eerste hoofdstukken tonen overzichtelijk de uitvoering van het functieonderzoek en de toegevoegde testen die nodig zijn om een betrouwbare diagnose te kunnen stellen bij patiënten met schouderklachten.
