Er analysiert die Auswirkungen antiziganistischer Konstrukte auf gegenwärtige Machtstrukturen und entschlüsselt kritisch-theoretisch öffentliche Eingriffe in das Leben von Roma und Sinti als apriorische Erziehungsidee. Auf diesem Wege hinterfragt der Autor die noch immer auf Roma und Sinti gerichtete Kontrollorientierung sozialpolitischer Programmatik.
