Dieses Buch liefert einen nach Regionen und Branchen gegliederten Überblick über deutsche Direktinvestitionen in der Volksrepublik China. Es folgen Untersuchungsberichte über chinesisch-deutsche Joint Ventures in den Städten Beijing, Tianjin und Shanghai und über die Investitionen deutscher multinationaler Unternehmen. Der zweite Teil gewährt mit den Kapiteln über die deutsche Asienpolitik und über die Zulassung von Holdinggesellschaften einen Einblick in die rechtlich-institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen der Investitionen deutscher Unternehmen in China. Einen Schwerpunkt des Buches bilden konkrete Investitionsprojekte namhafter deutscher Unternehmen. Der thematische Schwerpunkt der beiden Schlußkapitel liegt auf der Zusammenarbeit kleiner und mittelständischer Unternehmen aus Deutschland und der VR China.
