Cleaner Combustion and Sustainable World is the proceedings of the 7th International Symposium on Coal Combustion which has a significant international influence. About the editors

Haiying Qi is currently a professor of Tsinghua University, Prof. Qi graduated from Tsinghua University in 1982, and then completed his PhD degree in Germany. He is now the chairman of the 7th International Symposium on Coal Combustion. He also serves as senior members in several academic organizations, such as the combustion and multiphase flow branch of the Chinese Engineering Thermophysics Society, the multiphase flow branch of the Chinese Mechanics Society, and the industrial furnace branch of the Chinese Mechanics Engineering Society.

   Prof. Qi has published some writings: Euler-Euler Simulation of the Flow Dynamics in Circulating Fluidized Bed (in Germany, ISBN 3-89653-224-3, 1997); Principles of Boiler (core teaching material, 2002), Chinese Handbook on Electrical Engineering (in Chinese, 2007) etc.   He has published about 200 papers and is the holder of 4 patents. He was the secretary-general of Stan Miller Power Plant Equipment Company in German, the secretary-general of the 4th International Symposium on Coal Combustion in China. He was the visiting professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture, Chuo University in Japan and University of Aachen, Germany.

    Bo Zhao is an assistant professor of Tsinghua University, he graduated from Tsinghua University in 2002, and got the PhD degree at Tsinghua University in 2007. He has got experiences at International Energy Administration of United Nations in 2008, at CANMET research center of Canada in 2008, at Toshiba of Japan in 2009, and joined several international meetings such as GHGT10 in Netherland and CCS from amine absorbent in Japan in 2009. He is a member of American Chemical Society and the secretary-general of the 7th International Symposium on Coal Combustion.
