About the author
Professor Juan-Carlos Kaski is Director of the Institute of Cardiovascular and Cell Sciences at St George's and Professor of Cardiovascular Science.
His main areas of research interest include therosclerosis (inflammatory and immunological mechanisms), mechanisms of rapid coronary artery disease progression, biomarkers of cardiovascular risk, microvascular angina and coronary artery spasm.
He provides consultancy in the following areas:
- Biomarkers of cardiovascular risk
- Atherosclerosis
- Angina pectoris
- Member of several advisory boards on pharmacotherapy and management of angina
- Advising several universities and funding bodies worldwide
