Reviews
“This is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art book on gastric cancer. … The audience is primarily specialist practitioners in medical oncology and surgical oncology. It will be useful for trainees in these fields as well. Gastroenterologists who treat diseases of the foregut also will find it a welcome book. … This is the best comprehensive book on this subject that I have encountered.” (Carol Scott-Conner, Doody’s Book Reviews, September, 2015)
“Written by recognized authorities in the field, this book gives an excellent overview about the way how the topic is dealt with beginning more than 130 years ago with the pioneers of gastric surgery. … ‘Gastric Cancer: Principles and Practice’ … represents an exceptionally well structured reference for physicians delivering care to gastric cancer patients. It is a valuable tool not only for surgeons completing a surgical oncology fellowship but also for candidates preparing for certification or recertification in surgery.” (A. M. Prusa and S. F. Schoppmann, European Surgery, Vol. 47, 2015)
