Overview
- The book offers the unified description of the matter excited by femtosecond as well as attosecond and zeptosecond (nuclear processes) laser pulses
- This book is an investigation of the new field of the attoworld from one point of view
- The quantum structure of the thermal processes in the attoworld is underlined and the quantum thermal equation and Klein-Gordon thermal equation are developed and solved

About this book
Reviews
From the reviews:
"This book is based on the results of the authors’ interest in the field of ultrashort laser pulses interaction with matter. … In summary, ‘the attosecond laser pulse technology opens new possibilities in experimental as well as theoretical solid-state physics, optics, thermodynamics, and electronics. It is the first step in the new visualization of the fundamental processes that shape our Universe.’ … thus may ably serve as the first book for those being initiates to the subject." About the authors
Profesors Miroslaw Kozlowski and Janina Marciak-Kozlowska are the authors of five monographs concerning the basic problems of science and technology of materials investigated with lasers pulses. They published over 200 original scientific papers in Foundations of Physics Letters, Int. Journal of Thermophysics, Nuovo Cimento B and Laesers in Engineerring. Profesor Janina Marciak-Kozlowska has, also, directed five large industrial programs in the field of nanoscience granted by Polish Governement.
