Bianca Herzog joins Springer as Trade Sales Director DACH / EMEA

New contact for booksellers in German-speaking countries, Europe, the Middle East and Africa

As such, she is now the central contact partner for booksellers in the German-speaking countries (DACH) as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Bianca, who has a degree in Business Administration, is responsible for sales of all German-language scientific book and journal publications from the imprints of Springer Gabler, Springer Spektrum, Springer Medizin, Springer Vieweg and Springer VS. In addition, she is responsible for sales of the Springer Group’s English-language STM book titles in the DACH and EMEA regions.

Bianca previously worked for Pearson Deutschland GmbH for 15 years, where she held various management positions, including Sales & Marketing Manager Higher Education. There she was responsible for the sales and marketing of textbooks and digital solutions to universities, colleges and private institutions in German-speaking countries.

At Springer, Bianca will continue to be responsible for key accounts and trade sales, leading and managing the internal and external sales teams for the DACH and EMEA regions. She will report to Dagmar Laging, Vice President Library Sales / DACH Licensing / EMEA & GLS Trade Sales. “I’m delighted to welcome Ms. Herzog to Springer. Her broad experience and extensive knowledge of scientific literature sales mean that we have a competent contact for book sales in Germany and abroad.
