Christian Coseru is Lightsey Humanities Chair and Professor of Philosophy at the College of Charleston, and Series Editor of the Springer Sophia Studies in Cross-Cultural Philosophy of Traditions and Cultures. He works in the fields of philosophy of mind, phenomenology, and cross-cultural philosophy, especially Indian and Buddhist philosophy in dialogue with Western (classical and contemporary) philosophy and cognitive science. Author of Perceiving Reality: Consciousness, Intentionality, and Cognition in Buddhist Philosophy (OUP, 2012) and Moments of Consciousness (OUP, forthcoming), and editor of Reasons and Empty Persons (Springer, forthcoming), his research has been supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Australian Research Council.

Purushottama Bilimoria just completed being a Fulbright Scholar at Ashoka University and India International Centre (Delhi, India). He is currently Senior Fellow in Indian Philosophy, Center for Dharma Studies, Graduate Theological Union, and Visiting Scholar of University of California @ Berkeley, and Senior Fellow in the University of Melbourne, Australia, where he also serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Sophia, a well-known journal in philosophy & traditions, and a leader in diversification of philosophy. His recent publications are Routledge History of Indian Philosophy (edited with Amy Rayner), Francis & Taylor, UK (2019; paperback Routledge Delhi 2020); ‘Hegel’s Reading of the Logic of Indian Philosophy’, Australasian Philosophical Review, 2:4, 412-419, DOI: 10.1080/24740500.2018.1698099 (February 2020). He works and writes on the interstices of Western (analytical, Continental) and Indian philosophy, including Critical Thinking and critiques of non-empirical reasoning.
