About this book series

Heat Shock Proteins offers rapid publication of novel and outstanding research on all aspects of Heat Shock Protein research, the Heat Shock Response, and Cell Stress. In addition, as cells possess additional responses to Hypoxia, Genomic Stress, Oxidative Stress and related pathways that may involve molecular chaperones as well as unique molecular responses, these topics are welcomed. Degeneration of HSP expression and the multiple stress responses underlies many human, animal and plant diseases and this forms a major component of our content. This range of subjects have great topicality as the stresses associated with climate change advance rapidly in the earth’s environment.  In addition, the potential to escape from the eroding earthbound environment, such as with space travel will impose novel challenges to the human system that we will cover in the series.

The coverage of Heat Shock Proteins spans all areas from basic science, bioengineering, artificial intelligence, translational research, clinical research, drug and device development, environmental and climate change. Heat Shock Proteins welcomes Invited Book Chapters, Unsolicited Research Articles, Case Reports, Short Communications, Reviews and Letters to the Editor (Commentaries).

Heat Shock Proteins is committed to upholding the integrity of the scientific record and will follow the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines on how to deal with potential acts of misconduct and correcting the literature.

Heat Shock Proteins utilizes single-blind peer-review for all manuscripts. In addition, manuscripts are checked for plagiarism.
