About this book series
The Lecture Notes of the Unione Matematica Italiana (UMI LN) is published by Springer on behalf of the Unione Matematica Italiana (UMI). The editorial board includes distinguished representatives of the Italian mathematical community, and equally many members from across the world, together spanning the breadth of current mathematical research.
The volumes of the UMI LN series are lecture notes in the spirit of the established Lecture Notes in Mathematics (LNM) series of Springer, with an analogous editorial policy.
