David Bevan
David Bevan is an experienced management education and critical management studies professional: principally driven by Action Research and Learning; process philosophy scholar/student; international professor (business ethics, strategy, social accounting, action research, etc.); author and management consultant. COST Actions, Management Member for Malta 19139 FIN AI and 20134 TRACTS. Skilled in ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) impact / risk metrics and mitigation management; Ethics Expert in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), (Horizon 2020, European Commission) GDPR/ethics compliance expert (2017/22). Served as faculty at King’s College London; HEC Paris; Royal Holloway University of London; Solvay School of Economics, Brussels; CEIBS Shanghai; University of Hong Kong. Capable, senior management education professional with postgraduate degrees in Management (MSc), Accountability and Accounting (PhD), Academic Practice (MA), and Philosophy (MA): alumnus of King’s College London, Sheffield Hallam University, Staffordshire University, LSE, and The Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge. Academic Director of Academy of Business in Society (2008-12). He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed contributions since 2007 as well as being guest editor for special issues of Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business and Professional Ethics, Journal of Management Development; Corporate Governance. Previously 25 years’ experience in international business management and administration: trained in information technology (ERP); management accounting and reporting; human resource management and development through assessment centres.
