About the Editor

​Nita H. Shah has served as Head, Department of Mathematics in the Gujarat University since 1990. She is post-doctoral visiting research fellow of University of New Brunswick, Canada. Her research interests include inventory modeling in supply chain, robotic modeling, mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, image processing, dynamical systems and its applications etc. Prof. Nita has completed 3 University Grants Commission (India) sponsored projects, and has published 13 monograph, 5 textbooks, and 475+ peer-reviewed research papers. Her papers have been published in high impact international journals. She is Vice-President of Operational Research Society of India, and council member of Indian Mathematical Society.

Mandeep Mittal is Professor in the School of Computer Science Engineering and Technology (SCSET), Bennett University (The Times Group), Greater Noida, India. Prior to this, he served as Head of the Department of Mathematics, and Dean of Students Activities, at Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Noida, India. He holds an M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, and obtained his PhD from University of Delhi, India. He did his post-doctoral research from Hanyang University, South Korea. Prof. Mittal has published more than 100 research articles, chapters, and conference papers in international journals, books, and conference proceedings. He has authored and edited 10 books with international publishers including Springer. 


Leopoldo Eduardo Cárdenas-Barrón is a Professor at Industrial and Systems Engineering Department of the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, México. He obtained his PhD in industrial engineering from the same institute. His area of research interest is optimization and data science, inventory theory, and supply chain. He is a member of the Mexican Research National System. He was the associate director of the Industrial and Systems Engineering programme from 1999 to 2005. Moreover, he was also the associate director of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering from 2005 to 2009. He has published 118 papers in international journals such as International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Applied Mathematics and Computation, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Mathematical and Computer Modelling, Expert Systems with Applications, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Production Planning and Control, Journal of the Operational Research Society, among others. He is a co-author of a book related to simulation (in Spanish).
