About this book series
Frontiers in the History of Science is designed for publications of up-to-date research results encompassing all areas of history of science, with a special focus on the history of mathematics and the exact sciences. The series is also committed to interdisciplinary approaches at the crossroads between history of science and history of logic, epistemology, philosophy of nature, figurative arts, and history of culture more in general. Graduates and post-graduates as well as scientists and historians will benefit from selected and thoroughly peer-reviewed research monographs. The series is curated by the Series Editor with the support of an international group of Associate Editors.
