About this book series

The primary goal of this series is to help remove the barriers to undergraduate research. The titles included are intended for both faculty members who are eager to mentor undergraduates in research and motivated undergraduates who may not have ready access to formal research experiences. Each volume is a collection of articles by researchers who have worked extensively with undergraduates to a great degree of success. The goals of the authors are simple: aide faculty members in mentoring undergraduates in research, and provide undergraduates with materials so they might pursue research more or less independently.
