About the Editor
M.Grazia Speranza is Full Professor at the University of Brescia, Italy, where she was Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and Deputy Rector. Her main research interests are in mixed integer optimization models applied to transportation, logistics, supply chain management and finance. She is currently the President of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies, and was the President of the European Association of Operational Research Societies. She is also a member of the board of directors of the multi-utility company A2A. She received the laurea honoris causa from the University of Freiburg, Germany and is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna, Italy.
