About the Editor

Paul McCabe, Ph.D., NCSP, is a Professor of School Psychology in the Department of School Psychology, Counseling, and Leadership at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. Dr. McCabe is a New York State certified school psychologist, New York State licensed psychologist, and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. McCabe is Associate Editor of NASP’s School Psychology Forum and Contributing Editor of NASP’s Communiqué, founding the Pediatric School Psychology feature of that publication. He serves on the editorial boards of several publications in school psychology and developmental psychology. Dr. McCabe has authored over 60 refereed journal articles and chapters, and co-edited three books for Corwin Press/NASP: Current Topics and Interventions for Educators, (1) Pediatric Disorders, (2) Psychiatric Disorders, and (3) Genetic and Acquired Disorders. He has consulted at the national and state level on best practices in early childhood assessment and practice, pediatric issues in schools, and training in school psychology, especially in the area of social justice and LGBT rights.
