WMU Studies in Maritime Affairs was launched in 2013 to inspire scholars in the field of maritime affairs to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through publications of the highest order of excellence. With this book series, the World Maritime University aims to lead an expansion of scholarly pursuits, particularly in the areas of maritime safety and environmental administration, maritime law and policy, maritime education and training, maritime energy management, ocean sustainability and governance, and shipping and port management and logistics.
