About the Editor

Professor Carlos P. Bergmann obtained his PhD from the RWTH Aachen in 1989. He is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. His research interests are on nanostructured materials, surface engineering, materials characterization and recycling of materials.
