Mind, Brain, and the Space between them

This thematic issue is focused on unresolved questions about mental states, and their influences on brain and body. According to recent results in neuroscience and psychological research there is evidence that mental states related to stressful life events may have pathological influences and disturb physiological processes as well as brain morphology. On the other hand, integrative mental states, such as those due to meditation, may have positive influences on brain physiology. Any contribution that is psychological, physiological, or philosophical is welcome, as are approaches from disciplines such as physics, mathematics, linguistics, and other relevant interdisciplinary fields of research. To explore this unknown space between mind and brain.
Please contact the editor with any questions. Submissions will be accepted via the ‘Submit Online’ tab in Editorial Manager.
