    Aims and Scope


    Journal of Nephrology is a bimonthly journal that considers publication of peer reviewed original manuscripts dealing with both clinical and laboratory investigations of relevance to the broad fields of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation. It is the Official Journal of the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN). 

    Submission of research manuscripts covering diverse topics and problems (Original Articles) is encouraged. However, comprehensive reviews on relevant topics (Reviews), reports of new/interesting/very rare cases (Case Reports), Position papers and Guidelines, Letters to the Editor and brief reports on the protocols of new ongoing trials (Research Protocols) will also be considered. The Journal will publish also Editorials and Commentaries by invitation.

    Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before (except in form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review or thesis); that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as – tacitly or explicitly – by the responsible authorities at the institution where the work was carried out.
