Aims and Scope: Acta Mathematica Vietnamica

Special issue on "Nevanlinna theory and Complex Geometry in Honor of Le Van Thiem's Centenary"

 Prof. Lê Văn Thiêm (29 March 1918 – 3 June 1991) was one of the most prominent scientists of Vietnam in the 20th century. Together with Prof. Hoàng Tụy and other mathematicians, he established and was the first president of Vietnam Mathematical Society. He was:

- the first President of Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi University of Science;

- the first director of the Institute of Mathematics Hanoi;

- the founding Editor-in-chief of Acta Mathematica Vietnamica.

On the occasion of Prof. Lê Văn Thiêm's centenary, Acta Mathematica Vietnamica intends to publish an issue “Nevanlinna theory and Complex Geometry in Honor of Lê Văn Thiêm's Centenary” with papers in Complex Analysis, Complex Geometry, Nevanlinna theory, Number theory and all other topics, related to the current development of mathematics in Vietnam. You are most welcome to submit an original article or a survey for this issue. Papers should be submitted before August 31st, 2018 via the journal system:

Acta Mathematica Vietnamica is a peer-reviewed mathematical journal. The journal publishes original papers of high quality in all branches of Mathematics with strong focus on Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Topology, Complex Analysis, Dynamical Systems, Optimization and Partial Differential Equations.
