About the authors

T. PARTHASARATHY is Adjunct Faculty at Chennai Mathematical Institute and Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai, India. He is also Former Professor at Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi, India. His research interests include stochastic games, linear complementarity theory, and univalence. He is an author of 3 books and more than 60 research articles published in international journals of repute. He also guided six PhD students. An elected fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, India, and the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru, India, Prof. Parthasarathy was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology in 1986. He is also a life member of the Indian Mathematical Society and the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics. 


SUJATHA BABU is a visiting fellow at Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai, India.  She completed her Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India andM.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Kolkata, India. Her research interests include theoretical aspects of game theory, stochastic games, and evolutionary games. Furthermore, her work explores the practical applications of game theory by modeling logistics management scenarios using game theory and mechanism design constructs.
