About the author

Shelley McKeown is an assistant professor of psychology at Leiden University College, The Hague. She previously held a lectureship at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. Her research interests lie within the area of understanding and improving intergroup relations. She has published a number of research articles focussed on group behaviour, intergroup contact, shared space and peace-making programmes in Northern Ireland.
