The book entitled “Advancements in Smart City and Intelligent Building” is the Proceedings of the International Conference on Smart City and Intelligent Building (ICSCIB 2018) held in Hefei, China, September 15-16, 2018. This book addresses the recent development and achievement in the field of smart city and intelligent building. It is primarily intended for researchers and students for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the background of multiple disciplines including computer science, information systems, information technology, automatic control and automation, electrical and electronic engineering, and telecommunications who wish to develop and share their ideas, knowledge and new findings in smart city and intelligent building.
Editors and Affiliations
About the editors
Qiansheng Fang is currently the president of Anhui Jianzhu University, Anhui, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. He served as the director of the Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Intelligent Building and Building Energy Saving in 2017. He has published 4 books and holds more than 20 patents.
Quanmin Zhu is a professor at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK. He received his Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Warwick. He has published more than 200 articles in international journals and co-authored 6 books.
Feng Qiao is a professor at Shenyang Jianzhu University, Shenyang, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of the West of England. His research interests include fuzzy logic systems, neural networks, adaptive control, modeling and simulation and etc. He has published more than 60 academic papers.
