Prof. Dr. Magd Abdel Wahab is a full-time Professor of Applied Mechanics in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University, Belgium. He has published more than 400 scientific papers, and has written and edited more than 20 books and proceedings in the field of engineering. His research interests include finite element analysis, computational mechanics, fracture mechanics, damage mechanics, fatigue of materials, durability, and dynamics and vibration of structures.
