About the editor

Dr. Dredge is a board-certified pediatric neurologist.  He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, completed his pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield and pediatric neurology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. Dredge practiced general pediatric neurology at Baystate Medical Center from 2009 to 2016 and joined the staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2016.  In 12 years of practice he has had extensive experience managing patients with epilepsy, including complex, refractory cases.  Since joining the MGH staff, he has had an active role in teaching Harvard medical students and neurology residents.  More recently, he has taken over management of the MGH Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic and has been focusing on acquired and inherited neuropathies. He recently was named the inaugural Verne Caviness Scholar, an endowed position aimed at investigating and treating sensory and autonomic neuropathies.
