About the authors

Mohsen Attaran is the 2004–2005 Millie Ablin Outstanding Professor of Management at the California State University, Bakersfield. He is Founder and President of IES, Inc., a web and mobile app development company and has founded, launched, and managed several businesses in his career in a variety of technological fields. 

Angappa Gunasekaran is Dean and a professor at the School of Business and Public Administration, California State University, Bakersfield. He has organized several international workshops and conferences in the emerging areas of operations management and information systems.
